Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara (born in Romania) is the Romanian actress and television presenter. Her most well-known work is the main character in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control, and Rush. Born as the only daughter to Romanian actor Valentin Platareanu, Alexandra entered the showbiz world early and was playing lead roles in different TV dramas before she turned 16. In the Oscar-nominated film Downfall the role she played as the Secretary Traudljunge of Adolf Hitler was also a critically-acclaimed one. The Reader as well as Der Baader Meinhof Komplex were both nominated for Oscars. Through the years, Alexandra was involved in numerous noteworthy national and international projects. Some of these comprise British biographical film Control Greek Drama film The Dust of Time French Historical Miniseries Napoleon and many others. She was also on the jury of the Transylvania International Film Festival, and also at Cannes Film Festival.
