Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara, a Romanian and German actress working in TV and film is most well-known for her roles in films such as Rush as well as Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Alexandra was the only child of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. At the age of sixteen, she had secured a number of TV roles including the lead role in the Downfall film Youth Without Youth Control. In the Oscar nominated film Downfall the role she played as the Secretary Traudljunge of Adolf Hitler was also highly praised. The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex are the other Oscar nominees featuring the divas. Alexandra has been involved in numerous important international and national projects through the years. The projects include British biographical film Control Greek dramatic film The Dust of Time French historical Miniseries Napoleon as well as other. Her other roles include being an official jury member for each of the Transylvania International Film Festival and Cannes Film Festival.
